"Hey Derek, sprechen sie dick!"

So Glory Road is a textbook example of why 99% of biopics shouldn't have input from their subjects. (Straight Outta Compton sounds like it's another example). They pretty much sanitize the actual story of anything interesting and turn Coach Rupp into essentially a 2D neo-Nazi. When in fact, everyone who knew him says

I'm gonna have to dissent from your opinion here. Lean on Me has too many quotable scenes from Freeman alone (let alone Robert Guillaume) to not be satisfying.
"They used to call me Crazy Joe, now they can call me Batman!"

But there was a significant number of people (myself included) that gravitated towards the show from the pilot on…

Ironically, I've never watched any of those shows while they were on air…

So I've been in the tank for Mr. Robot since day 1 but can someone please explain how that is such a "horrible title". It's a title, that we find with the penultimate episode, has a personal significance to the protagonist, and as a result, the entire story.

The A.V. Club
"It's always Tits and grand gestures"

Officially changing band name from Fleetwood Mac Sex Pants to Hot Buttered Gun.

Ok, so I wasn't seeing things, that was a dolled up BD Wong as whiterose? Thought I may have been having Elliott-levels of hallucinations…

#kthxbye!

Personally I thought Tyler Williams and the woman who played the lesbian lawyer were the secret sauce there, but to each his own.

Holy shit, that is him. Between this and the Jack Black article, I seriously need to go watch Orange County again.

This is my favorite Holt quote. Next is: "My wife was killed by a man in a yellow sweater!"

So much to love about High Fidelity over all, but the interplay of Rob, Dick and Barry is some of the best. Favorite exchange is when they first hear Lisa Bonet's character sing:
"Is that Peter fucking Frampton?"
"Yeah."
"I always hated this song."
"Yeah."
"Now I kinda like it."
"Yeah."

And the backlash begins…
