Putting aside the racial connotations of their brand, I’ve always found it very cringey as well. I get we all need a schtick, but not this one.

For really small businesses I’ve noticed that websites could be missing but they likely have an instagram account that you can DM

Yes and that only works if you remove the bad apples promptly before it spreads its bad appleness further. As we have seen in police departments everywhere, they don’t face removal or adequate repercussions. Paid leave, desk duty, transfers or even just getting a job in different city. The bad apples in PD have stay

It’s a variety of things, but usually I think the main ingredient is some sort of starch? Or at least the ones I’ve had. I don’t have one in front of me.

At Asian supermarkets you can find faux fish items, our local store has faux fish balls that’s pretty great.

I also found I really enjoyed radish leaves recently, in trying to use up the whole plant. They’re not the most aesthetic leaves (at least mine weren’t) and do have a bit of a hairy like feeling, but they make a lovely salad when you’re bored of greenleaf and romaine but don’t feel like tackling a kale or arugula.

My friends and I were supposed to turn 30. We have decided to postpone that to next year and not count 2020.

I feel like maybe I was expecting a Savage Love type of letter when I read that headline.

I would also recommend several episodes from book 1. Even though more people tend to like the later seasons, I have a soft spot for season 1 because I feel like the episodes feel more self contained as their own story and the animation is actually amazing in these given episodes.

The Fortune Teller is one of my

Kinda have to disagree with you on the mock substitutes. I mean sure, if you’ve only been doing this for a week with no intention of continuing, the faux meats would probably just put you off with the difference.

While I still pretty much have no restrictions on what I eat, I’ve been phasing out meat and other animal

That but I also think there’s an inherent feeling of being judged when you learn that someone you’re interacting with ie vegan/vegetarian, even if they say absolutely nothing. The cognitive dissonance between eating meat and knowing what it entails is brought out in those sort of situations. I’m explaining this

I love Anthony too, but this was definitely a take that my disagreement with grew over time. I think his experience with vegetarian or vegan diners really colors his viewpoints on it as well as coming from a Western Country. I think if he were still here he’d might begrudgingly start to see this dietary choice isn’t

Meal times are, like, a social construct. But in all seriousness, he sounds like more of a grazer. I would just let him know when food is ready and let him manage on his own. He’s not gonna starve.

Me and all my girlfriends support you.

If anything, even the everyday attachments people make to their objects might make a more interesting topic. Think about the emotional devastation you had when your tamagotchi died for the first time. But not the subsequent thousand times.

Audio only dramas have a lot of room for this sort of acting, but what distinguishes Her is the fact that Scarlett Johansson’s character is the only character without a form I guess. In which case, it’s about making sure her voice-only performance matches the emotional level of everyone else’s.

Can’t speak for Sri Chimnoy’s line of restaurants, but every Loving Hut I’ve been to has been both incredibly different in what’s on the menus, yet also surprisingly, sometimes astonishingly, good.

I go on walks in SF from time to time, there’s still a fair amount of people in the streets, so I doubt someone would stop her if she were just by herself.

Freezer would be your friend here, you can freeze the portions you don’t intend to eat soon so later you have a variety of dishes to eat when you’re not feeling like cooking.

My boyfriend usually dine out almost entirely from the apps and small plates section. We prefer trying more options and I generally find it the chefs get more creative with their appetizers. Mains are where imaginations go to die, imo.
