I hate that the nemesis system is patented. Imagine how much better it could be if other game developers were allowed to innovate off of it instead of fearing a bunch of lawsuits.

The first is Warner Bros. Games flat-out denying the live-service reports.

They're called Game Mill?? 10/10 product as described.

Gaming has a long history of lazy terrible cash grab licensed games. I’m surprised we are reporting on it in 2023 like it’s a new development

I don’t blame the developers behind this game for it being such a mess

I don’t think there’s any major property that’s more careless with their license than TWD. You’ll see the scammiest mobile game imaginable, and its like, featuring Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead™, and it’s completely legit.

Its not just video games - but why is it these CEO clearly screw up and make a mess of things yet remain employed? This sounds like string of bad management decisions. C-suite should pay the price. And not with a golden parachute - they should get the same severance any other employee gets. It amazes me with the focus

Same here, though content has become somewhat less over the years. Jezebel, on the other hand, was a toxic echo chamber, which devolved further over time.

Kotaku in 6 months: Untold Worlds, studio founded by ex-Mass Effect dev, lays off 90% of workforce.

All jobs will inevitably be outsourced until it is straight up illegal to do so.

Thanks WB, for again making it clear, for me not to purchase the game.
