It should be obvious to thinking people by now that the guy who lost the popular vote is incapable of logical, rational, reasonable, contemplative, philosophical or wise brain functions. He managed to lose $916,000,000 in 1995 and turn that into a business loss (that we taxpayers have underwritten for 18 years).

So, in this scenario, he’s saying we are all Barb, right?

Couldn’t be any worse than the rust monster we ended up with.

I wish Demogorgon was president. I think he’d be an improvement.

I know I’m in the minority, but I’m still so disappointed after Civil War this fails to get me even the smallest bit excited.

I really like his optimism and excitement, so I’m curious to see what the end product will be.

It is a fair criticism to say that FOX screwed it up. They delayed it or started it “already in progress” for football and aired the episodes out of order. (Having not read the books) Fellowship made me feel, as a 26 y/o in the theater, the same way I felt when my father took me to see Star Wars (episode 4) in the theater in the late 70s/early 80s (sometime before Empire was out).

Because they turned a 300 page book into 8 hours of film?

The LOTR trilogy was so truly amazing. I’m still confused at how The Hobbit trilogy was so truly horrible.

The first film is perhaps one of the greatest displays of worldbuilding. We get exposition, sure, but the film just keeps moving forward.

The first movie is incredible. It’s just a constant build until the end. The second and third movies are great, too, but the first one is just amazing world-building/introduction.

Wow, did he murder your family?
