@Soldier_CLE scratches himself, seems pleased.: @thegetupkid: Am I the only one who thinks its a bit ridiculous to even be discussing this kind of stuff on Kotaku? I don't usually let it get to me, but I've never seen people spout out so much misinformation and flat-out anger towards vegetarians! It's insane.

@Racked: Along with "A Story of B", one of my favorite books.

@Edge of Blade: Sounds something like Baingan Bhartha, one of my favorite dishes as well.

@ChrowX: Show me evidence to support this claim and I will take it seriously. The truth is much closer to what DaFron said in response. However, I don't believe that cows, pigs, and other lifestock would go extinct, as studies on selective breeding have shown that species begin to return to a "baseline" of sorts after

@Theoutlet: Before the agricultural revolution, there were thousands of cultures around the world that were gatherers, meaning they subsisted off of wild fruits, vegetables, grains, berries, etc. There were also thousands of cultures that subsisted mainly off of hunting wild game.

@BaanuRass: Don't worry about it. I don't like having beliefs pushed on me, either. Comment stricken from the record.

@dry-roasted-peanuts: I appreciate that you took the time to explain your point of view. I think that there are definitely times when lab testing on animals is necessary. It sucks, but sometimes its just unavoidable.

@Mact: Perhaps it was your use of the word "arbitrarily" that led me to believe you hadn't done your research.

@BaanuRass: Tell that to all the other invertebrate herbivores that can't digest cellulose, either.

@Mact: Absolutely, a balanced diet is essential to being healthy. I'd like to see your reference for your proof that people eating meat are overall healthiest, actually. But you are wrong about vegetarianism leading to nutrient deficiency. Just look into it.

@Werrick: Do some research on the subject before you spout off at the mouth about it.

@lowtolerance: crap...ignore that. i posted it in the wrong spot.

@TRT-X: OK, point taken. I still think it would be a good idea, but they shouldn't allow PETA to promote it.

@Mact: There is plenty of evidence to support the fact that vegetarians live longer, if you'd be willing to take five minutes to look into it.

@Kenny: PETA would probably say it's wrong, but I think that if you're going to eat meat, killing wild game is the only way to do it ethically.
