It would likely vary from state to state. Personalized license plates can be ridiculously expensive in some states, while very cheap in others. The front license plate option would likely mimic those fee ranges.

Fortunately, my state is a rear plate only state.
I would imagine if the 2-plate states made the front plate an option (by paying an additional fee for the privilege to remove the front plate) they would be able to accommodate those that don't want it and the owners that do not care wouldn't be effected.
In my state, I…
You forgot the steps: ??? and Profit
I'd be interested to see how many hit and runs are actually caught due to someone at the scene being able to recognize and recall the license plate on a vehicle (front or back). Now, if we start taking into account the proliferation of dash and rear view cameras, then I'll concede that point to you.
It should have been a design consideration. If it wasn't, that's a pretty big miss relating to the racing community. ...I don't know if you know this, but the Miata is the most raced car, like, ev4r.
It's quite unlikely that you, as the driver, would be able to get a good enough look at the front license plate from the vantage point of the driver's seat or just stepping out of the vehicle. ...then, on top of that, you have to remember it.
Problem with the off switches is they reset after the ignition is turned off. Having to go through a turn everything off every time the car is driven is annoying.
The ability to set the assists to off as a default would be a welcomed option.

...if you will.
Can we just let the spinning triangles of death lie?
Do you even have to ask that question?
Can't wait to see it in race trim.

Weren't thieves stealing the headlights out of one of the later gen Maximas because they had good HID projectors?
I listened to the whole song. Twice.
I see no link. Son, I am disappoint.
Saved.

Now guys, don't beat up on the drifter too much. He still thinks driving sideways started in the mountains of Japan.
Never experienced fade, but the pedal got soft pretty quickly. Changing to a stouter fluid fixed it. The OE pads are actually quite good.
Probably has to do with logistics. The 4-door and 5-door Fiesta are assembled in Mexico, the 3-door is assembled in Germany.
