Story checks out.  I live in the land of full size pickups in every driveway.  Except mine, I have a hatchback because I spend all my money on things that aren’t my daily driver.

But if you’re going to build a small pickup, wouldn’t it make sense to make it small enough that it’s not stealing market share from your big pickup?  I’m not talking Chevy Tracker territory but something that would appeal to the people who won’t be able to get a Focus in a year or two.

Yeah but small pickups these days are still pretty damn big.  May as well go the whole hog, no?

Spoiler alert, the new Supra (Newpra?) is not for you and me.

Why does anyone want a Ranger Raptor? Or a Ranger for that matter? Aren’t they like 90% the size of a F150 and around thirty eight bucks cheaper?

But when you graph the curve of best fit, by this time next year it will be worth INFINITY DOLLARS!

*Raises hand* This bastard will!  I just need to borrow $259,000 from somebody...

Amazing. A friend of mine is pursuing a land speed record on a motorcycle that’s set lower than that.

I have the weirdest boner right now

You beat me to it by one minute.

What do you mean no real benefits?  It went “Mmmmmmmmmmm.”

I was thinking EV conversion. I like gasoline power as much as the next guy but something about the RX-8 just makes it seem like it wants to be electric.

I actually like it more with each picture I see of it in grey.

I suppose you’re entitled to that.  I’m still waiting for my Kappa-platform Nomad...

Imagine the head gasket for something like that...

Imma just say it: that thing was really ugly.  A toned-down production model had a chance at being a handsome little car as long as they didn’t take too much edge off (I’m looking at you, Chevy Volt) but the front end treatment of the concepts was just... off.

Looks like it has skinny little stalks for cameras(?).

I eagerly look forward to lamenting that this never went into production.

A Bennett Buggy, eh? Greetings, fellow Canadian!

Hey Cadillac, take a page from the full-size truck playbook and scale that badge up until it’s the grill (which an EV doesn’t really need but whatevs).
