Sun would be in Ravenclaw. She loves sassing people.

Well, if you read her stories about being a South Indian and her struggles with colorism, then you would have learned the same thing as me.

No you aren't. You're attempting to refute it. You haven't presented any evidence that disproves anything about colorism.

And the wildest thing about this; you don't know what I've seen in my life for me to be able to ascertain the similarities between people like Mindy and people who have an obvious aversion to the "ethnic" parts of themselves.. to the point that they seek out white people to whitewash themselves.

Also to be fair, he might get a bit less b/c sexism. Men, of all races, get away with more. Sometimes murder *cue OJ joke*

I learned a lot, obviously you haven't learned the art of shutting up :D

*eye roll*

Yes, they do.

That is her prerogative, but all choices open you up to criticism.

And oh yea, for blacks, it is way more important that women are light skinned. The intersection of sexism never ceases to disgust me.

No, I enjoy it and it's necessary!

That's part of my charisma. I'm very charming and kind to my fans, yes, even you.

If you don't give a shit, why comment? That's a lie, you do care because you want to be right.

You're making too much sense. Sigh.

I'm black and we have very similar issues with colorism. From people explicitly saying "dark skinned women are ugly, and all light-skinned girls are bad" to bleaching creams.

It's not racist nor stupid.

This is really white people attempting to invalidate the thoughts and experiences of minorities. wild.

I'm sure there were some incidents however Europe is largely responsible for the "white is right" mentality.

It's not racist. see my response below.

Heh, it's absolutely not racist. You opened up Pandora's box of colorism issues.
