Excellent reference.

i have not heard peaches "fuck the pain away" in years i CRACKED UP!

also, the soundtrack is great. Little Dragon. Peaches. man.

i'm watching it right now and i'm semi distraught. i'm actually almost done with the series. i haven't read the comment thread yet, but i'm sure we all are thinking the same thing; this is not science fiction nor is this fantasy. this almost our real life and it's terrifying.

4/23 was the one year anniversary of Lemonade so I rewatched the fuck out of that and cried.

there is a lot of information on how Oprah is kind of a shitty human being.

screwed over HeLa and racism in the scientific community. the US is really shitty to minorities and health.

it doesn't surprise me that this film lacks emotional depth. there has been controversy with Oprah and the family of Henrietta Lacks, how they haven't received any compensation and she doesn't care, how they were not consulted on certain matters, et cetera.

pissed about Olitz. i thought that was done but i guess that was always endgame, sigh.

It would be silly to act like other races cannot have instances of prejudice or ignorance.

Apple Music's "Midnight City" playlist is everything - love dance music.

also, love triangle next season? Alice is good, Julia has her shade, and Quentin is friends with both of them now.

Kady is still a horrible girlfriend, but what's new. felt really bad for Margo losing an eye, and I was kind of creeped when the plumbers came but it was anti-climatic.

it was a C+ when I initially posted this.

praise HIM.

A+ comment.

God is good. God is too good.

It's unfair to say that a non black POC would be objective… there is tons of anti-blackness in the Asian community and the Hispanic community.

the racist blackface party happens in the second-third episode. if it was where the movie left off, they wouldn't have included the blackface party/the election scandal, all of that.

the stigma of being gay and a black man and struggling with hyper masculinity and finally a movie with durags and a man wearing golds won best picture.
