i think it was selfish b/c Marnie is trying to find her own identity and not be selfish so she figured she would be more selfless if she gave away all of herself to another human being.

i liked this ending, a lot. it was great for it to end with Marnie b/c she is her only friend. i enjoyed how it talked about postpartum depression/psychosis because that is a real thing. i'm glad it mentioned how with pregnancy you literally can rip your vagina to your asshole and how you can still be bleeding.

It's funny you mention Germany, much like how the trailer mentioned germany. they learn about all the ugliness of the holocaust from their youth, they go to concentration camps b/c the Germans want to ensure nothing like this will ever happen again.

Shosh has the ending she deserves. this was very realistic; sometimes you fall off from people because you realize that they are dead weight.
