Seconded.

There are lots of reasons people don’t have sex, guys. If you really want to promote consent, how about we normalize people who choose not to have sex for their own reasons? Because the social pressure and judgment from the “pro-sex/everybody is doing it duh!” group gets pretty ugly.

Well, I was 26 when I lost my virginity and I’m pretty awesome. I just don’t judge myself by whether or not I’ve had a dick inside me. Believe me, if you don’t have that big of a sex drive in high school / college, you can make it to the other side without having sex. And then by the time you are ready, it’s

Agreed. All I got from this was, jeez what a bunch of crybabies. With all of the horrible things in the world today, they gotta complain about a company’s editing practices and treat it like it’s the end of the world.

Gamers are the worst. Seriously we are. Needy, whiny, entitled, easily offended (but tell other people not to get offended) and eternally insecure. Do sports fans doxx athletes because they don’t like them? When was the last time large groups of movie-buffs tweeted offensive and hateful things at a movie editor, or

#NOTALLFRAT-nevermind, I can’t do this anymore. As a society, can we just admit that yes, it is all fraternities and do away with this bullshit institution once and for all?

I guess I am going to get yelled at, but I find it distressing that people are willing to use the accusation of racism as a weapon. And it works too well. In this case, the incident was recorded on more than 12 cameras, including audio. And the police interviewed 35 people who witnessed the event. The article here

I disagree. If we understand the cause and there was some racial component, then the solution is don’t be racist, and don’t beat people on the bus. If the cause was random disrespect, then the solution is be polite and don’t beat people on the bus. If there was no discernable reason other than her face looked like it

“Still, there’s debate over whether the video of the incident released tells the full story about what could’ve incited the women accused of assault.”

Did we believe the black women on the bus because we had credible evidence, or because we favored them due to the progressive tendency to slap a “victim” label on them due to their race and gender? Isn’t assuming victimhood due to race and gender a form of bigotry in itself?

It occurred to me, watching the snow drifts

Yes this video doesn’t tell us what started this mess, but it does show that the story the three black girls concocted was false. There is also witnesses who say it didn’t happen the way these three were saying. And called someone a White Bitch. So it does appear that these three were lying.

I also think it’s interesting that you use the term “rush to judgment or carry prejudice against people based on race or gender.” But that’s exactly what occurred here. Three black women said they were victims of a hate crime, and we all rushed to the judgment that it must be true. We tweeted our support for them, the

"In their initial reports, the women alleged that a group of white people on a bus headed to campus used racial slurs and attacked them, in an incident that seemed to mirror other instances of campus racism."

What the hell does the picture have to do with the story, though? What does it have to do with the outrage that these women lied about being assaulted? Are you suggesting that if a white person lied about assault from a black person today that the black person would be lynched? I realize that racism still exists, but

Their story never made sense. Racism is obviously bad in America but, a group of men attack a group of women in public while yelling racial slurs and EVERYONE just sits and watches and does nothing?

Tried to read this article objectively, but it’s hard when half of my brain is going, “Well he’s obviously a scumbag - ‘Gucci’ is the douchiest nickname OF ALL TIME”

This is why people need to stop rushing to humiliate and trash people publicly and instead wait for actual information to surface before reacting to stuff like this.

“So do we now stop defending black women because of what happened?”

The team has the right to “support” their ex-teammate. The women have a right to say that they are supporting a rapist. They also have a right to say they are being silenced if the team is tearing down their flyers.

I wish we didn’t give these young male athletes such an inflated since of self importance like we seem to do. This whole rhetoric of banding together with their brother and whatnot...please, you play college basketball, there’s honestly few things less important than that.

It’s “hey remember Ghostbusters? What if ghostbusters had people falling down and slapping each other a lot. haha, wouldn’t that be great?”
