I couldn't help but see it as dismissing it as yet another rumor/failed deal, but what you're suggesting makes sense too. . I want to stay optimistic.

"Go see Welcome to the NHK." You said that. To DRC. That's hilarious.

Eh, I think they're much more difficult to interpret and understand (at least Mulholland Drive) than Eraserhead. As long as you have a basic understanding of abstraction and filmic language, that Eraserhead is about fear of fatherhood is practically straightforward and blatant. Perhaps my perception was colored by

Uh, also the really sad scene that she's specifically quoting?

It's a wonderful show, I hope you enjoy it.

A.

Oh goodness, I just heard about From the New World a few weeks back from a '2013 in review' feature. I need to find that. How have I not already discovered and loved that?

Isn't it set in between episodes 22 and 23 or some such?

Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas is my favourite episode of the series, but you express your difference of opinion in a civil manner for the most part, unlike him. For that you have my respect.

This will be mine either this year or next year, more likely the latter, depending on whether or not I can handle not seeing the final season as it airs.

We know it's you, Chris.

Yes, yes we do. I can only agree that Doakes being killed off in that finale could have worked and could've been necessary, but definitely weren't in execution. A season of Dexter from six years ago isn't worth debating, I'll go find one of your Homeland comments.

Isn't the Fahrenheit 451 film still a flop?

I know you're just making a perfectly fine joke, but I feel like some people might not be aware that Will Smith is thankfully not in that film, so I'm just checking to make sure that *you* do. And to clarify that for anyone else.

If that was their only legitimately great season, I cannot imagine how much I would have hated the last two seasons of the series, beyond the knowledge I already have regarding their hokey plotting and trite over-sentimentality.

He also narrated the Ocean of Fear episode of Adventure Time, was Long Feng on Avatar:The Last Airbender, Yakone in The Legend of Korra, and Doctor Marconi in John Dies at the End. The man can do no wrong.
