Is The Replacement Killers worth watching? I’m an avowed (Chow Yun) Fathead, but early Fuqua is kind of a tough sell for gunfights and the like

Any list that puts the wrench as the top option is null and void. Here is the ACTUAL correct list

This looks rad as fuck. Give me more games that let me pretend to be John Wick

That makes SO much sense. The hoverboard races in particular felt bolted on from another game, and the handling specifically didn’t feel up to modern standards. It’s still a fun game, but there are elements of it that show its age

Wait, I thought the new R&C (the one Sony’s giving us all for free) was a new game/reboot. Is it a remaster/remake instead? That would explain some stuff

CONTROL, BABY! I have to say, I fucking LOVE the artwork, the themes, the powers, the aesthetic, all of the creative stuff swirling around it. But the gameplay itself KIIIIIIIINDA sucks. Thank god the good people at Remedy believe in difficulty sliders. All I’ve done is kick up the damage resistance slider just a

INTERESTING. It’ll be tough to see if my hatred of Prime counters my hatred of ads tho

.

I can’t fucking wait to watch our remaining movies on Prime because we make a point of not using the shipping aspects or going to Whole Foods (fuck Jeff Bezos forever).

You really think so? I’ve been seeing more and more people online (so yeah, take it with a grain of salt) noticing that Netflix is one of the worst streamers nowadays. It and Prime are on the chopping block in my home

This is the catch right here. Netflix fucking suuuucks nowadays. Our house only watches the occasional movie or show nowadays; most of its original content is balls, barring the occasional Roma or Mank, and they’re losing licenses left and right.

Ummmm, did Hulu restore those 30 Rock episodes? I feel like I watched Christmas Attack Zone over the holidays and that Lynn Swann moment was still in there.

HOOOOOOOOLY SHIT. Bravo!

Oh no . . . I want to watch this

I’m playing Control right now. Tbh I don’t think the actual gameplay itself is compelling enough to warrant playing it at its default difficulty setting, so I nudged the damage resistance up a bit.

Perfectly put. A friend and I are doing some writing right now just for fun, where we send each other quick little essays on stuff we’re thinking about as we’re playing our respective games. My next topic is going to be about how Overwatch has absolutely ruined all online shooters for me.

There’s a lot of evidence that the “first mover advantage” is actually dogshit and might be more of a hindrance than has been believed. Copycats can figure out ways to do what you do for cheaper/more profit or exploit weaknesses in your initial model

I’d add Gwent to that list too

Everyone’s piling on for that “clever business idea” comment, and it’s COMPLETELY DESERVED. A bad card game is one in which you not only pay for the cards you buy, but also the table you play on, AND takes a cut of each card you sell. It’s an objectively stupid idea in the face of SO MANY OTHER card games that don’t
