So your argument is that a pop culture website should ignore something that directly affects its existence, almost every day? They covered Obama pretty breathlessly as well; were you complaining then?

Holy shit what a stupid fucking question. Seriously, take ten steps out of your comfort zone once in a while, because this might be the stupidest fucking thing I’ve seen in text in my life
It’s been a long time since I touched it, and I was hardly a fighting game aficionado even during its peak, but I remember it being pleasantly “slow” for a game, even compared to SF3. Positioning and counters were key to the game, and you had to be pretty smart about when you wanted to strike. Is that fair to say?
You’re not wrong, but IMO there’s room for both. I really like the dark and brooding SNK sprites, the bright and buttery SF3 sprites, even the staccato GG sprites. Just give me more sweet sprite action!
OT, but is anyone else not seeing the Jalop tab icon for this page? I’m seeing The Takeout’s icon on this tab
I was going through a particularly rough patch at the time, and all the messages of “you can do it!” plunged into my heart like a knife
Is Kotaku just becoming a vore site now? Calling Thanos hot was weird, but this is borderline disturbing
Christ, that ending. I remember being extremely blase about it in the lead-up; I delete games all the time, with no intention of replaying them, and Nier had shown it was going to be a bit of a grind to get all the weapons and items AND all the stories going along with it. So I played around a bit, and got to the…
I just broke my neck from nodding furiously. The first two Raimi Spider Man movies absolutely set the stage for the modern MCU; like Tom says above, the merest passing mention of Curt Connors sent my nerdiness into the fucking stratosphere
I was gonna say: glad this will make my award-show-skipping even more efficient!
Jfc lookit that front butt!
performing the character from a vocal standpoint is far easier than playing him physically
Isn’t Pokemon Go doing ok though? While people aren’t moving outside en masse, there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved with activities like this. Just seems like a misstep by Mojang
Oh HELL yes it’s good in tuna salad. Anything that can take oil and heat is a top notch vehicle for giardiniera
That’s an interesting point. I admit, I haven’t gotten the Real Chicagoans talk for deep dish, but my hackles do raise a bit when outsiders think we ONLY eat deep dish. It has a specific time and place (by which I mean, whenever and wherever you feel like it), but most Chicagoans eat tavern cut the way other places…
I think Chicagoans generally object to deep dish being portrayed as the official pizza of Chicago, when it’s square cut, but I know plenty of Chicagoans who still make room for an occasional trip to Pequod’s.
Tbh that sounds like fennel (less likely) or a general aversion to oregano (more likely imo); I’ve always gotten licorice traces from oregano and beef jus generally has a decent amount
Honestly, I’m amazed at how many uses I get out of a jar of giardiniera. It’s a PHENOMENAL addition to a cheese platter, great on basically anything savory (phenomenal on nachos!), and the oil is one of the best oils you can use for salad dressing. IMO it’s like kimchi but more versatile. The non-giardiniera-eating…
PS Plus has been PROFOUNDLY crappy for the last 5-6 months. There haven’t been a ton of games I’m actually interested in playing. Also, why hasn’t Sony dipped into its first party games for the service??? Horizon has been out for a gazillion years AND is dirt cheap; why not just include it???
Jack Donaghy would have tried to fix the election for Trump. I’ll take Alec Baldwin after that
