I think this is slightly different, because you can get into a slew of reasons for why people become GMs (the salary, arrogance, the prospect of being the next Masai Ujiri and never having to pay for anything in a city for the rest of your life) as well as reasons why GMs don’t make long-term decisions on the regular

I once bought a box of Raisin Bran Crunch for most mornings, and a box of Count Chocula for when I was stoned. Then I looked at the nutritional information: exact same serving size, RB Crunch had more fat, more sugar, and less vitamin/mineral supplement. Count Chocula is better for you than Raisin Bran Crunch.

But you’re assuming there will only be one GM in place during that entire span, AND, in what might be an even bigger reach, you’re assuming that said GM actually has a vision for what they’re trying to build instead of making instant decisions on what the marketplace presents at that time.

A buddy and I are huge FF fans and have been debating whether or not to jump in to this. What’s stopping us is that frankly exorbitant subscription fee; that’s a lot of money to shell out for a game that we’ll only be able to play intermittently.

I wouldn’t fuck with this guy

Abraca-daiquiri is a solid piece of wordplay, but my god: Fireball AND grenadine AND Pepsi? A “tini” served frozen or with club soda?? “Sensational sangria” is just . . . sangria??? THAT’S the real Mindfreak

Tokyo Drift has legitimately good driving/drifting scenes (which are like action movies in that the best ones are filmed in long takes), and 4-6 are just well-made comic book movies with fun scenes. Fast Five in particular is a high-water mark; the entire safe sequence is fucking perfection.

It would make playing the game flow SO much better if I could map B to RT though

Take your star, you monster

The lack of button mapping is honestly the only reason I’m not playing SMB 3 every moment for the rest of my life

More importantly, when are they allowing button remapping???

Cubs fan here. I became a fan growing up partially because games were always on WGN and were easy to watch. The deal Ricketts has to start an all-Cubs network will be unbelievably destructive to their presence in the next 20 years

So you’re mad that a game that came out nearly 2 years ago and was plagued with issues almost from the jump, issues that are PERHAPS only now getting fixed, isn’t getting as much coverage as a game that came out like a week ago? The world doesn’t revolve around you, guy

“My mincemeat cannon gingerly glazed her swollen arglebargle with my heavenly man-chimichurri as her heavenly legs sweat

Uhhhh, sure, but also: the EPL is basically the cream of international soccer. People like watching the best sports. MLS had TV exposure FOREVER, but it didn’t transmute over to regular watchers because it’s trash

Hershey’s “chocolate” is objectively trash and therefore it is no surprise that its store would be as well

Grigori’s body was shown to be mashed into red paste on screen. That’s hardly an open question

Speaking of, one of the things Paulson is keeping busy with is Murphy’s Netflix series Ratched, which is a Joker-style origin story for the villainous nurse from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.

I starred you, but Melo’s career aged in dog years even during his peak. “Ace shooter who’s an open door on defense” hasn’t been a starter on the NBA since, like, his second year (unless you’re a Bucket God, like Harden).

Absolutely not. The price of entry isn’t the issue, it’s what that low price of entry gets the company when multiplied over millions of consumers. I haven’t read the actual suit, but the charges don’t seem set up to enrich the two plaintiffs; they’re to keep the company from making a shitload of money over the entire
