Shannon is an inspired choice for McCarthy, and I’m curious to see how this goes--not least because the director last made a brutally depressing art house film, and because for some reason he cast Dane DeHaan in this.

God damn it, Netflix. This is what Youtube is for. You are not this. You make Mindhunter and other shit. Make more of that.
Yea... it’s tiring, it makes me roll my eyes, but... I can also just look away.
Was Father Trendy teaching that day?
That’s very, very messed up. I have a much less scary but still relevant anecdote along those lines.
Just when you thought it was safe to live deliciously...
It’s comforting in its predictability. And in how wrong they all are, because Life Aquatic is so clearly the best.
How much does this social media thing cost
I thought it was New England because that would make more sense with Erin saying she had Hollywood aspirations and when she ran away she went south and then west. I mean I guess she could’ve gone to Hawaii or Guam or something…? Or BC/Alaska is technically further west, although I’d probably call that going north from…

I watched the entire series. I liked it, but man those monologues just don’t stop, there was one scene where a charceter talks about death, I zoned out, only to then realize the character he was talking to was about to give their own way overlong monologue.

It worked because it mirrored the state of the Mafia, and threw its…
One they got past the events of the book, the show took a nose dive, and now their only ideas seem to revolve around making Moss’s character as miserable and unlikable as possible.
I was a little disappointed that the interview didn’t delve a little deeper into the Frank Sobotka role. A fantastic, conflicted character and a powerhouse performance.
Season 2 of The Wire is shockingly underrated. The storyline clicked with me far more than Season 1 did and widening the scope beyond the Barksdales was a really wise move.
Season two is one of the best seasons.
