For the life of me I can’t figure out why Destiny gets so much press on Kotaku. There are so many better games with such larger player bases that deserve attention.

I bought Diablo 3 Ultimate Edition for ps4 and none of the things that you wrote seem to be accurate.

I watched the full video, and the game didn’t portray him in a negative light. This is a cash grab pure and simple.

Except this is TAS min-maxing. TAS = Tool Assisted (Speed-run). The first condition is minimizing button presses. Speed is secondary. Since all the button presses are computer controlled, is really just math, programming, and problem solving. Nothing sporty at all.

60k is not a lot for a WORLD championship. There are 20k people watching a random non-tournament LOL stream right now. I wonder if Smite is paying Kotaku for the rediculous amount of coverage it’s getting here.

You really shouldn’t include games that don’t have an ending, like Badge Arcade.

With all the Kinects no one uses, it can’t be hard to get a cheap one off eBay or craigslist.

I too have been trying to avoid any spoilers about Star Wars. The worst I’ve had so far was a stray Kotaku headline discussing the gender of the new villain. I was even trying to avoid this level of spoiler. I’m not even watching any trailers (why would I need to get hyped over a movie I’m already planning on…
