Mercedes never offered a V6 in the R129 in America. The 6 cylinder was an inline engine until it was discontinued in '98.
Maybe at one point it was, but it's recently turned into a website for people who all think the same thing and where diverging opinions are not welcome.
So why would you allow your staff to write a joke review of it instead of writing something useful? This makes zero sense.
Congratulations, Jalopnik has officially jumped the shark. You've been damn close for a while but this (terrible) post really put you over the edge.
I highly doubt Mazda builds cars to order. They probably manufacture what they want, fill up boats and ship them over here. If what you want matches what's on the next boat, you're in luck. If not, too bad. I know that's what Subaru does, anyway; I imagine Mazda is the same.
NOBODY buying a car in this segment cares about having a manual transmission. I guarantee Mazda sells only a few hundred of them this year and then drops it entirely for next year and beyond.
I know the difference, I'm just not enough of a pedant to care about how I type it.
Hypothetical scenario: the Paceman is badged as an Audi. Would it be celebrated as a modern Coupe Quattro, or would it be panned for being a useless vehicle that has no place in today's market?
I'm not going to do that, as I'm not qualified to determine whether or not an automaker has lost their way. No individual is. If they're recording record sales and profits, then they have not lost their way.
Also, none of the smaller ones even come close to having interiors as nice as MINI
I do drive a Mini. What do you drive?
Spyker for sure
This is the least intelligent comment I've ever read on this website.
Amen. Give it up, Travis. Enough pandering to the internet commenters already. This site has become a shell of what it used to be.
Brb, immolating myself so I don't have to be subjected to the inevitable flood of "OMG LOL FERRARI FIRE" comments on this article
I'm new here. Please tell me more about this website.
