What is the last vintage car you bought, and what kind of plans do you have for it?

Keep looking, you'll find one eventually. I was able to get my 102k-mile 1990 for $2500, and all it needed was a few minor cosmetic things.
I know of at least 2 commenters here that own them and I believe both are still stock.
It took quite a bit of searching for me to find an unmolested one for a decent price, but I would by no means say they have "almost totally disappeared"
BMW generally has some of the best looking factory alloys, but these look like they belong on a clapped out Civic. Bring back the Style 5s, please.
When I was 12, and the '99 Si came out, I wanted one SO BADLY. I had all kinds of crazy ideas of what I wanted to do to it. With time I became wiser, and realized cars like this are much better enjoyed stock. To this day, I wouldn't mind having one to tool around in, but I highly doubt there are any unmolested ones…
