They're all guitar pop. The only true rock hero of our time is Fred Durst. At least that's what the snob in that Newbridge record store said.

The AV Club: There are no bigger fans out there than Mexican teenagers.

Scharpling should try to revive it on the local Edge station just for the ensured awkwardness after years of insults.

The Chris Gethard Show or the Best Show on WFMU, since both have niche enough fan bases that are bound to have other common interests.

Woah sudden slam on No Wave! Since when has their music been weird noise stuff. There's not a single Teenage Jesus and the Jerks Song that's unlistenable, as they're all under a minute long.

I remember the Tower Records closed down in SF, but it was no big loss since we have a huge Amoeba in the Haight. Still, I remember going to NYC and seeing a couple record stores that were smaller but had more interesting punk and indie stuff (Other Music and Bleeker Street).

"noted self-styled crooner Macfarlane"

They could at least get Ms. Listler on. I kind of want to her demonstrate her sniping skills on air.

"Coincidently, as I’m just getting into Zappa, I’m dating his daughter. Which is weird. Me and Moon are hanging out, and I’m amassing her dad’s records. "

Ugh.
I hate music
What is it worth?
Can't bring anyone

Exactly. It's the same way that musicians and others in the early20th century dismissed jazz as dissonant and non-musical. It may be partially based on personal taste, but it's connotations are linked to race.

I think the only people who really think that way are teenage commenters on Vine videos and Rolling Stone lists.
