I'd bet anything those people are offering help, and he's ignoring them.

I suspect a big part of what we're seeing in AB is his complete refusal to listen to his paid advisers. Does anyone here think that, at a minimum, his agent isn't telling him to shut his fucking pie hole and let things cool off at least a little?
This is so right it’s terrifying.
I agree with every word of TCN3's post, and it would literally take someone threatening my life to stop me from voting for the Democratic nominee in this election.
Except for the cycling details, you largely described how my wife and I approach the NFL now. I’ve been a pro football fan for nearly 50 years (no shit), but the whole league has turned into such a toxic, flaming train wreck I hate being associated with it, even at a distance.
It’s all about boundaries. Non-rich, non-powerful people like us deal with them all the time. Some people like AB refuse to see them, which results in, among other things, abhorrent behavior like this.
And let me say, as gently as possible, that this illustrates one of the minor benefits of driving an electric car. The cost to recharge my EV doesn’t change based on international relations, local gas station competition, etc. My “fuel” costs a bit over 3 cents/mile, around 2 cents/mile when I recharge overnight.
Found out a friend did something like this. His daughter was in college before he revealed to his wife that the reason he insisted on naming her [girl’s name] was that was the name of his Very Serious GF in college, before he met his eventual wife. To say it was a source of tension between my friend and his wife for…
Wait — “Wolfgang” was on the table AND YOU DIDN’T GO WITH IT???
I like your grit.
As I mentioned elsewhere in these comments, I got a lot of religion-based responses when my father died when I was a kid, and in fact I even started challenging people about “God’s will” and demanding they explain to me why taking the life of a family man who loved his wife and son, a foreman at a machine shop, a guy…
This is a tough topic, to say the least.
Strongly agree with this article.
This is beyond vile. This fucking moron is going to convince people to do things that will hurt at least some of them in very serious and untreatable ways.
Watching (most of) last night’s train wreck of a game, and then listening to and reading much of the commentary today is depressing. I’ve never been a Panthers fan, but watching Cam play has always been exciting, bordering on a spectacle. I wish him the best, and if he's really feeling the cumulative effect of all…
Love this, if for no other reason than it would drive Some People batshit crazy.
This is the only way the dimwits who run baseball could think of to compete with the NFL. They know that once upon a time there was this Big Homerun Chase that lasted an entire season and pulled their ass out of the PED fire. So, like a Hollywood studio that's long ago run out of ideas, they're recycling an old one:…
Agreed. And if you really do need another phone — my wife and I added a new phone line to our household recently — my advice is to buy the cheapest one you like that’s in the ecosystem you know and are comfortable with. For us, that meant getting a Moto G7 on sale at Best Buy for $220. Sure, it’s a “basic” phone, but…
For me, it's patience. Do I want to buy something big, like a new TV or laptop? Don't dash online and click my brains out. Wait. Research what's available, when the item typically goes on sale, what might be coming soon that I'd be willing to wait for, etc. And I always monitor deals sites, which have saved me a…
Still trying to figure out how the Buffalo Bills tie into this. I'm SURE the connection is there, somewhere...
