When did fast food companies start hiring their own agricultural staff? I had no idea Wendy’s or McDonalds actually employ the people who plant and harvest the tomatoes; I assumed (wrongly) that they just purchased agricultural products to assemble into sandwiches and such.

Our neighborhood Mexican restaurant carries Modelo Negra on tap, and they serve it in a 32oz. mug...  It never disappoints!
