The US had nothing to do with it. The Syrians did it on their own. The only help the US has tried to provide has been incredibly ineffective. The fact that you’re buying into this shit makes it a stupid post.
Killing ISIS so they are too busy dodging bombs, in addition to fighting on 10 fronts, to organize an attack on the US or our allies?
I assume this is a pro-Bernie post... but its just a terrible one. Intervening in a civil war that has already been raging for a long time is not the same as creating a civil war for the purposes of regime change. Unless of course, the US has a magical ability to make a country’s population rise up against their ruler
All of warfare will soon be asking the question of drone warfare. In 20 years we will have autonomous combat aircraft, naval vessels and land fighting vehicles.
It will primarily use passive sonar. The trick is to track without the sub knowing you are tracking. Active sonar is effective, but the minute you start pinging the bad guys know you are on them.
It’s only a prototype....
Fuck em’, nuke the whales!
It is now.
DoD, do you even frigate?
You’re right. Storing eggs in drones is a terrible idea.
That’s what evolution is for. It’s time for dolphins to *evolve*.
Not gonna happen.
The last time I checked, Ukraine is in Europe. And NATO’s projections indicate that Russia could possibly overpower the Balkans before NATO could mount an adequate defense (actually a projection made by the RAND Corporation). But Russia doesn’t stand a chance against a full scale engagement with NATO, and if you…
Ok, then let’s have the UK annex half of the world, if we’re gonna follow your logic. It was their once.
Goddamned camel jockeys are gonna undo the world. The whole situation looks like it came straight out of one of those, over-the-top, Tom Clancy books.
I still maintain that all of this had its roots in the colonial vestige Sykes Picot agreement that laid the groundwork for partitioning Syria and Iraq along boundaries that do not represent the social and religious factions in the Mideast.
What's it like working for Russia Today?
If the US is such a nuisance, why doesn’t Western Europe just step up and defend themselves?
Mmm clickbait title, mmmm.
