I sewed a Stuffed Tonberry, Cactuar, and Moggle way back when I was in Highschool. Still have the Tonberry.

The Tonberry fight was absolutely hilarious, but for sheer comedy value I think the Hell House fight just barely wins.

Yeah weird, it is almost like the Remake isn't a 1:1 copy of the original game and everyone has already known that for months now or something. 

I can agree with this, tonberries are really something special. I will say that cactuar are a close second though, getting obliterated by 10000 needles has its own unique appeal.

I don’t even need to argue your main point, your implication that Weird Al isn’t hilarious invalidates any opinions you have on humor AND music. That dude has been consistently making funny songs for longer than you or I have been alive.

It tells me that many gamers absolutely missed the point of the original game.  Fucking mouth breathers.

Yeah I’ve read all of them. I’m interested to see how it plays out, but none of it was outside the realm of possibility. Druckmann is a good enough writer that I’m willing to follow the story where he wants to take it. Will it actually be great? Remains to be seen, obviously.

The main gripe on twitter seems to be that Ellie is now a butch lesbian and people are decrying her character modeling. They also seem to be conflating the rumors of the disgruntled employee with comments made by the former game director and script writer Amy Henning. 

Read the leaks and I’m really happy that it sounds like they’re taking the story in a VERY unexpected direction. Was worried this game would be too similar to the first and I’m no longer concerned about that.

I really hate the idea that knowing what happens at the end of a story “ruins” the story.

I knew what happened at the end of THE LAST OF US 1 before I even owned a playstation, and I still dug it. If the story works, the story works.

Boy, who’d have thought that a series about examining human connection in the apocalypse would focus on the romantic relationship between two female characters. Not like the developers and publisher didn’t signpost it with the reveal trailers months ago.

I made the mistake of clicking around Twitter and a lot of dipshits on there are mad about the plot being too “woke" and sjw or some shit and I want to slap those people while also avoiding any spoilers. What a bunch of babies
