Initial reactions: Ok, this is pretty cool. Plays like a more grounded Kingdom Hearts. And the voice acting is actually tolerable! The visuals are gorgeous and it’s nice to see Midgar fully realized (posters on walls, subway maps and timetables, etc).

Uncle Chuck, Sonic’s uncle. (Was also into the Archie Sonic lore.) That would seem more fitting to me, as well, but I think the point they were trying to drive was about how unique Sonic was on his own world and another hedgehog might disrupt that.

The mental gymnastics in these comments of people who preference Warren but will never vote Bernie floor me, in much the same way as those who would vote Bernie but never Warren. It just seems like tribalism at this point, and I’m sad to see it amongst a crowd I usually respect.

This exactly. I love Warren. Was hoping she would run back in 2016. The caving in on health care was bad. The “leak” to CNN about Bernie’s supposed comments just before a debate also hosted by CNN was a sign of a larger character/judgement issues. It was desperate.

In fairness (to the people dismissing Warren), the primary we had was in a state adjacent to her “home” state, and a majority of the primary state’s population lives within the same media market as Warren’s “home” state. Her getting half as many votes as Amy Klobuchar is pretty damning. Warren should’ve enjoyed…

I don’t see how Deadpool constantly flirting with and groping male characters can be interpreted as not addressing his sexual fluidity. Yes he’s in a serious relationship with a woman, but it doesn’t stop him.

I think that’s due to a particular trope: “Characterization Marches On”.

I would never have described him that way, but then I also wouldn’t describe Scar as effeminate either.

She’s very much both, which is something I’d like to see emphasized more.
