So, I’ve been spending this week preparing things with my Twitch setup (https://twitch.tv/lost_limey - assuming the URL doesn’t get Kinja’d), which has consisted of two main things:

1. Moving from Twitch Studio to OBS Studio
2. Testing my capture card so I can stream consoles.

As part of that second one I was able to

I’m archive bingeing X-Books starting from the Silver Age. I'm up to April 1992 cover dates for Uncanny X-Men, Adjectiveless X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, Wolverine, and Excalibur.

Probably just as well, wasn’t Netflix Daredevil notorious for it’s lack of grasp of New York law?

Nocenti’s run is underrated. I’ve also heard a lot of good things about the current Zdarsky run, but my Marvel reading right now is almost entirely consumed by early 1990s X-Books.

I’m pretty sure it’s queer in the modern sense when it comes to Clive Barker based on just about all his novellas that I’ve read...

Kind of sad that the reboot strips the queer subtext away, since that really was what differentiated the Hellraiser films (at least the first two) from most of the other 80s slasher/horror icon franchises.

Seriously, are you playing Sauron?

I saw Thor 4 in theaters.

Ah, I think my local theater is Regal and I've only been to the movies three times since the pandemic started.

I’ve literally never heard of this supposedly “iconic” AMC ad before this review.

But how many people watching would know that Orodruin is Mount Doom? We’re on the nerdier end of the scale, even by LOTR standards.

It did. That filter was named “Marcia Lucas”

Hugh should appear as himself and as Wolverine, but Laura Kinney Wolverine and not James "Logan" Howlett Wolverine.

I think it's because of distribution and stuff. It's technically a Universal movie and not a Marvel Studios one. I'm not even sure if it's on Disney+ because of the rights issues, and since Disney+ is now the streaming home of the MCU...

Yeah, Deadpool is a Joe Kelly character with a Liefeld design at this point

Made me think of Kevin and the Smiling God from early Welcome to Night Vale.

I read this comment in Werner Herzog's voice

Project Dolphin?

He’s more machine than man, twisted and evil.
