Since map design can be considered “art” for the purposes of copyright, you are entirely correct in identifying filthy copyright thieves. The only thing you’re off about is the timeline. This isn’t a new wrinkle.

Agreed. Since all Sharon existed for in The Winter Soldier is to give Cap a case of the not-gays.
I'm enjoying the story of Dragon Age 2 so far. I think it helps that Hawke has a more concrete background than the Origins main character did, since it allows for more personal storytelling than the somewhat generic tales in Origins that had to fit several different backstories dependent on the race/class the player…
This movie reminds me of early Tom Clncy novels, in hat it’s definitely pro-military with an obvious lean to the political right, but it doesn’t really interrogate why that is. It’s enjoyable enough wherever you sit on the political spectrum or however much you know about the “real” Kyle of the memoir. It’s just not a…
I’m a little nervous that my entire Steam wish list is 60-75% off right now thanks to the Summer sale. My wallet’s already crying after I spent too much on England football (soccer) and rugby shirts this month. So far, I’ve only succumbed to one item: We. The Revolution and as I currently type, I haven’t played that…
Know how I can tell that most of the attendees were white?
Yeah, the 6 Jalops (Well 5 + Torch) in attendance would love it.
Meh. Bulbasaur’s better. There’s a reason it’s #1.
On what basis, just out of curiosity?
Nothing wrong with having a pocket full of kryptonite.
I feel like Mick referring to Sara as his oldest friend is a little unfair to the late Leonard Snart.
Since I play a lot of D&D, that wouldn’t have even occurred to me to think about. I guess that particular mindset is already locked in.
I’m emulating on a RetroPie because I don’t want to dig the NES and cartridge out of the loft, so didn’t consider the Gamegenie options. Since I usually play games for story, I should be more open to such enhancements...
Comment reply that disagrees with the original comment due to a misreading of a clause in the original comment, but angrily so.
Yeah. In a much lesser example, it seems every gamer I know locally is going nuts for Valheim, and while I generally love that sort of survival/construction genre, it’s just not working for me in this one.
I think it’s because the element of interactivity in a video game is inherently more subjective than a passive activity like watching a movie.
I’m in a weirdly similar boat. I’ve not played Breath of the Wild, in fact I’ve barely played a Zelda game, and I have a weird completionist streak in me, so if I’m going to play one, I’m going to play all the mainline games. So I’m currently struggling my way through the first dungeon of the original NES The Legend…
You’re the person who ends a Final Fantasy game with a billion Esper potions, aren’t you?
While not familiar with the Golf iteration, the Mario Tennis and Mario Kart games, which are technically the same idea always went hard. And some of the Mario Party series does.
