Joel McHale's muscles mean a lot to you, huh?
Community has many strengths.
Annie= Janie's Got a Gun
Abed= The Goonies 'R' Good Enough
Jeff= George Michael's Faith.
Troy= Say Say Say
Britta= Self Evident (but she's actually never listened to it or any Difranco, and secretly only has The Rembrandts on her iPod Nano)
Shirley= Down to the River to Pray
Chang= X Gon' Give It To Ya
Pierce= Sting's Fields…
Señor Chang, hands down (or fists in the air?);
Everybody but Jeff is psycho for BNL. Pierce thinks Billy Joel writes crappy songs. Troy and Annie are too young to know who that is. Pierce was also in Micro Nipples' horrible hippy reggae band, and he's been known to plagiarize Bruce Hornsby, so you know, there's that.
It's the little things, isn't it?
Details. Community was a show rich in its own intrinsic weird details, little details mattered. This season, the details got tossed out a window. Important details. Not just devil in the details details. The people who are no longer on the show had more stories than people still on it (Shirley). People not on this…
They made paintball cool again. What's not to like?
Elaborate on that.
…that black bio teacher in Season 3…
Sony owns the property, it doesn't mean it sees a ROI; Films are expensive, the audience for a Community film isn't large. Even a modest or low budget production would be a risk.
I didn't say I disagreed, because I don't disagree. What Adolf Hitler said (which is a weird thing to type).
Britta and Jeff high fiving over their dissolution goes back to them actually high fiving over bagging on weddings in "Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts". Nice.
Oh my god, they did do an in memorium to Hughes at the end. You just wrinkled my brain. Nice.
Wouldn't it have been great if the tag was a surprise appearance by Troy, like a Skype chat with Abed…
It just seems like he's super angry, but not intentionally angry. Like seething rage filled eye rolls at odd moments. It's jarring.
It's pretty friggin' great.
Yup. And it wasn't (enough). We could have done with a few more episodes that made sense, like why is everyone still hangin out Greendale again??? Do they go there? Do they work there? Are they tresspassing? Because, "Repilot" didn't make much sense, and then everything that was established in it and "Basic Teaching"…
