That’s really too bad... it throws some cold water on the “this was a really nice kid” angle of the story. Doesn’t change that fact, of course, but it takes the shine off the “this is a kid who made chicken salad out of chicken shit” refrain.

This is the correct comment. It’s like HamNo either a) chose not to think critically or b) remember 6th grade civics that discussed why the government was set up as it is.
