Agreed. Id feel different if the dog wasnt that bad off and they snatched her but thats not the case. If this was just some dude who kept his dog chained in the backyard like this, would anyone complain about her being grabbed? I sure as fuck wouldnt.

If the dog needed 6k worth of treatment then it CLEARLY needed to be taken in. And, yes, its arguably easier to fix the issue of an “unhoused” dog vs that of a human. Some will go above and beyond to help their companions but, again, 6k.

“Cancel culture” isnt new in the sense that public support can drop in wake of a scandal or just shifting attitudes. Social media just adds another layer of knee jerk pissiness to it all. Its not “real” in the sense people go away forever if “#[entername]isoverparty” trends on Twitter.

Very well said and I agree.

IF Jez wanted to go “how the shows lack of diversity effected the work environment and non-white staffers” then have at it. But thats not what happened. They ended an article in which he addresses the lack of diversity and stated he got defensive and angry when called out, by insinuating he has a history of blowing up

Humans in general tend to get defensive when an idea or view they have of themselves or the world gets challenged.

Very damned if you do, damned if you don't. And no one is problem free either. So it strikes as very self righteous and hypocritical.

The link even said as much too.

Which is quite sad, tbh.

I think you may be onto something. I used to religiously come to this site and have started to pop on here and there. I think Kon addressed things well, going by what was posted. So lets try to drag him for the very same thing he addressed in the damn article!! So edgy and provocative! Its really tiresome

Most of this article is Stewart owning up to the lack of diversity on his staff and what lead to it. In an intelligent and insightful way. So why was the last bit necessary? I clicked it (maybe thats why?) thinking it was going to be about him having a history of yelling at staff. But it was only about the Cain

Perhaps I just read a janky study or confused it with something else. I didnt mean to give the impression I think false (meaning made up) rape accusations are extremely high or anything of the sort.

I agree. It can really go either way too. I dislike the "women have nothing to gain but everything to lose by coming forward" slogan, tbh. Someone willing to make a false allegation is not the most reasonable or decent human being. Bumper sticker slogans dont address how complicated and bizarre human behavior is.

I dont really care for Bieber tho I appreciate the more nuanced take. People really need to refrain from jumping the gun on "convicting" someone so easily. False allegations may be statistically rare but those statistics only take so much info into account. Like what resulted in charges or convictions.

Hes the ex husband of one of Ambers friends/witnesses. They lived down the hall from Depp during the marriage and were engaged at the time the divorce was taking place. This is just a salacious snippet from it. I'm sure theres more to come out pertaining to the actual allegations.

I get that this is “salacious” but if Elon, Cara, or Franco was with Amber in the days after alleged assaults then any testimony is arguably important. As it can corroborate injuries or lack thereof. Franco is already on CCTV with Amber the night after the alleged phone thing.

Jez is really just shit at critical thinking when it comes to allegations. They reach a conclusion and try to force evidence to support it. Ive severely cut my time on this site because of it.

This is fucking great. I legit thought it was real for the first 2 minutes lol. Gotta love Hardy and his weird accents

His other videos show his punchable pasty face

Wasnt this type of shit done is grocery stores at some point? IIRC some idiots actually got charged with something for it. Hope it happens here.
