A lot of very wealthy, foreign university students in BC. I bet the first owner drove it hard and never did a lick of maintenance.

I’ll get one in 6 months when they start including six months subscription to clear out inventory.
Jokes on them...this customer wants to buy out of warranty so he can mod it. :)
It’s like they paused 2/3 of the way along and then forgot to do the back end.
I actively discourage people from asking me for car recommendations because what people want is for someone to make them feel better about buying an overly-expensive SUV to haul little Jimothy to school. No one wants to hear that they should have just bought a minivan; people want to be assuaged from a perceived…
In hindsight, I should have told JFK to go with the hardtop Continental.
If I wanted to deal with the hassles of a RHD vehicle, I would want more for my trouble than having people stare at it in confusion and mild disgust. No thank you.
The best cheap beater of all is a city bus. Just take the bus. Yes it’s slow but you don’t have to drive in the ice and snow. Take advantage of the resources you’ve got.
2000s or 2010s Suzuki SX4 in a hatch or sedan. AWD, comes in a manual, hatch versatility, good mpgs, and used prices haven’t gone through the roof like if you wanted a Crosstrek
I agreed with this until I got a car that had it.
The worst are power seats without memory. So the slow motors makes it take forever to get the seat back where it belongs after someone else drives the car, but it could be easier if someone hadn’t objected to an extra $2 electronic module.
Bigger wheels as a premium option. Why? 18" standard is already too large - why the hell would you want even more rim and less tire? Ruin ride quality AND pay more for tires over time.
That’s actually what you are supposed to do though. The DOT in my area actually installed signs right at the end of the lanes saying “Merge Here.”
No, that actually isn’t bad advice. Its called a zipper merge and (if done properly) it is faster than getting in as soon as you see a lane closed sign.
It’s easy to simply break out the two. I’ve found many a Yaris with less miles and newer for under 6k. Found one for 4k. Let’s pretend this one is everything you could want for its mileage and condition and give it a 5k value. That’s not a NP value, just an average at best value
So is the motorhome worth 27.5k. 22 year…
Jesus Christ guys, on what planet is over $20k for a car “cheap”...
During cash for clunkers, 100k Explorer Sports were $2500 on the very high end. I’m not buying into the fact that the Mazda badge adds any value, it’s still just an Explorer (or Mountaineer).
