yeah I agree, it's too on the nose. I wouldnt mind some subtle references to The Wire but I trust Harmon to do what's best.

it's an interesting marketing strategy. Cougar Town did the same thing I think - releasing a trailer with lots of spoiler clips to gain interest for the show (though I think there's was longer and more of a 'highlights reel'
