Fanboys wont see a problem with this, and will liken it to being sort of coming from a boutique automaker a la Aston or Mclaren. But I see through the bullshit and foresee quality problems and suspect panel fittings down the line.

It has parallels though. Black women who feel the need to relax their hair over social norms is part of the stigma why we have people who look down on locs and frizzy hair in the first place. It’s why people have felt the need to gatekeep having dreadlocks for some reason recently.

Okay, I think we’re using the word “rich” pretty loosely here.

First thought when I saw the headline and pic, “Well that white couch isn’t helping.”

Woah woah woah woah. Pump your brakes. WHY would you go to any lengths to give that guy in the header image the benefit of the doubt? NOBODY, and I mean absolutely no-fucking-body-at-all is dumb enough to do this kind of thing and not know what it really means. No. This was absolutely intentional, every single bit of

In 5 years, Jezebel will probably be writing thinkpieces about this girl being an empowered feminist trailblazer so fuck it, this is the world today.

She is the 2017 version of “Ow! My Balls!”

99% of tech startups now-a-days are just fancy versions of things that already exist.

I’m happy using gender neutral but no way will I ever start a conversation by asking what someone’s preferred pro-noun is.

Good thing Jezebel is pure and ad-free!!!!!!!1

How is that so different from what jezebel does? You advertise products with copy that generally reads like: “ OMFG you guys this new hair straightener is my EVERYTHING”.

The utter lack of even the slightest peep of protest from Trump supporters is just another nail in the coffin of the idea of conservatism being anything but racism. He’s not throwing out “bad hombres,” he’s throwing out anyone with a Spanish accent.

It seems in general the further right one is the tougher it is to create meaningful art or humor. I’ve never quite understood why but there’s definitely a correlation there. Also fuck yeah Square One TV

What is it with Nazis & failing at art?

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve had an interview that wasn’t panel based. Sometimes I’ll talk to an HR rep for a few minutes one on one, I guess. It’s always been more of a conversation for me. People ask a lot of questions, but then I try to stick questions in there as well, and get them to talk to each other.

You do, however, still need to occasionally dangle a key ring full of pep rallies to placate everyone.

It’s like your neighbor saying “I’m going to light our whole block on fire to protest our property taxes. Would you be willing to follow behind with the fire extinguisher and make sure I don’t actually burn down the block?”

The only mistake would be watching them
