Agreed, I think the word “like” has stronger and clear-cut romantic connotations than “love” because love can come in many forms. I’m pretty cynical about this whole pivot. Their family may be trash, but they are shrewd business people and I wouldn’t be surprised if Kris had “the talk” with Kim about her getting older and needing to transition to a new thing and letting her younger siblings take the limelight for their looks while they’re young.
