Tremors is a goofball classic and I’ve seen it 10-12 times, starting when it first came out on VHS which was when I was about 12 so the timing was perfect.

This. When you can STILL quote a thirty-year old movie that everyone has been relentlessly quoting your whole life and, instead of everyone in the room rolling their eyes, you get genuine smiles and laughs.......that is rare.

I keep saying the same thing to everyone, but forreals I am always glad to see Waking The Dead get some love. It’s really smartly written and just seems like the kind of thing that was destined to fly under the radar but if you can tune into its frequency, it’s really powerful.

Every Christmas season my partner and I watch what I dubbed “The Christmas Trilogy Of Death”: The Long Kiss Goodnight, Lethal Weapon and Die Hard. We run them all in one night, usually in that order.

You see this movie coming, you got time to comb your hair, shit!

You win

In Spacek, no one can hear you scream......

For whatever reason, when I first saw Galaxy Quest around the time it came out, I fucking hated it. It never occurred to me I would ever see it again.

Hell yes

Reviewing your own work is important. Helps you understand the craft.

Milk Carton’s reply probably makes more sense, but I guess I always thought it was because of Jeannie encountering Rooney at the door thinking he was a threat, and kicking him.

I’m a Lynch acolyte and am always pleased to see Fire Walk With Me get some shine. It’s tremendous.

I haven’t re-watched them much, but glad to see those Hartley films get some love. I actually prefer Fay Grim just slightly.

I’d tell you about how I did indeed watch Popstar but I’ll refrain.....because I’M SO HUMBLE!!

It’s dope all around, but the scene in the woods where all of a sudden he has a beer and a cigarette and starts dance-fighting is sacred cinema in our house. My partner and I both about died the first time we saw it, and we reference it regularly.

The whole thing is a pretty great trainwreck, but Eric Andre just destroys. What the hell goes on in that man’s head........wow.

Thanks, Binky! It seems like my replies have started being automatically accepted/posted (non-grey......whatevs) but my original posts still sit “pending”. Now, that may be because several of my recent original posts have been me screeching at the incompetent writers here and their inability to compose a handful of

Terry appreciates this!
