Thanks for your thoughts. For me, the quality articles are few and far between and thanks to how insanely cluttered everything is you can barely find them anyway.

I saw Neko Case. She was amazing.

I’m among the S2 fans. I’ve seen it twice and really enjoy it. It’s flawed but for me the pluses far outweigh the minuses. McAdams and Farrell in particular were really impressive, and I loved how thorny the plot got but once you put the pieces together, it really did make sense. 

I think you can safely put your phone on silent.

The article exists to make fun of someone (well, two people) who routinely invites laughter and scorn, and who deserves it. I don’t care about some stupid goddam TV show I’ve never seen. Yeah the overall level of discourse has absolutely plunged. Like I said, it’s a big reason I just don’t hang here that much anymore.

It’s totally fucked. Oodles of innocuous comments get parked in some nebulous grey zone, yet I have actually seen the words “you should just kill yourself” grace the screen here MORE THAN ONCE. There is absolutely no excuse.

Yeah. I know it’s easy to pine for the Good Old Days, but seriously the decline here just over the last year has been unbelievable.  When I think about what this place as five+ years ago, it’s almost hard to fathom. The likes of O’Neal, Rabin etc are so badly missed.
