I’m probably about 36% off, but I would guess that it translates to “the increased popularity of comedy that is designed to be awkward, abstract and/or uncomfortable to the point where it doesn’t resemble previously recognized and/or celebrated forms of humor and is therefore perceived as being anti-.......something”.
Agreed, and I wouldn’t really bother to weigh in except for him feeling oh so free to use the word “fa**ot” in 2018. Maybe the album is decent. Maybe it’s even good, though I would bet just about anything against it.
I’m not very familiar with Bon Iver, but I have heard his song “Heavenly Father” many times. I have not heard Eminem’s latest tantrum, but I remain confident that nothing on it is within a million miles of “Heavenly Father”.

That’s pretty much my position too; I almost rewatched it recently but skipped it. It just feels like the kind of film that would reveal itself more clearly on a second look.
I have not.
That’s funny, because my experience with it was also out of the ordinary, but in the reverse way - I am pretty choosy about what I see in theaters, and to this day it’s the only thing I’ve ever seen theatrically that I didn’t know existed until that day. I had a friend who said “let’s go see this movie” and I shrugged…
