I don’t have a problem talking about Hamilton. My problem is viewing Hamilton through the lens of the musical. Hamilton was an elitist who did not trust the public to take care of themselves and did everything he could to “forget from whence he came.” He would be the anti-immigration, right-winger that most fans of

I have a really hard time believing this is true. I teach at a private school where kids come from a wide-range of political families and there are very few kids who don’t support LGBTQ rights. And the most supportive are the female students. I’ve even seen students convince other students that their “anti-gay”

The real problem is that people do not understand how human nature works. These companies will pander to different progressive movements, but they are going to make sure they pay off the people who will help keep their taxes low and their profits up. If that means giving money to Republicans and Democrats, they will

It’s noble to be idealistic and expect that corporations will stand up for a cause and make behind the scenes moves that are consistent with those causes. Unfortunately, that’s not how human nature is when it comes to self-preservation.

Free agency hasn’t started yet, bub. You have to believe that there are one or two other mid-range to superstar players that wouldn’t mind taking a shot and joining these two. The Warriors problems with Durant and Klay leaves the door to the Finals a little further open.

Where were these two when I was a kid and desperate to contract Polio and the Measles, but my stupid parents were all like, “Hey, look science has figured out a way to eradicate all these diseases so you can live a longer, more prosperous life than those in the past!”

Yep. They keep barking at the umps while the batters step out of the box to adjust their jocks after every pitch they foul off. It isn’t like football or basketball where the next play requires attention and the officials are running around just as much as the players. Umps and baseball players are just standing

Every time I hear a story about a pitcher getting angry at the batter, I think of Nolan Ryan and Will Clark. Clark hit his first career HR off Ryan in his first career at-bat and Ryan threw at him in his next at bat.

“If you don’t want me to watch it, go get it out of the ocean.”

Has anyone ever worked in an occupation where the environment wasn’t toxic on some level? From my first job as a grocery bagger until my current job in education, I have never worked somewhere where at least one or two people weren’t ruining it for everyone else.

This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Politicians have some of the lowest ethics on the planet. They rarely stand by principles (or even have principles) When the pressure to get elected gets heavy they will flip-flop all over the place. I have no respect for these people. I can’t stand Trump, but at least with him

Where did I complain? All I said was it wasn’t going to pass through Congress. How is that a complaint? I don’t understand your second paragraph either. Where did I complain that they are getting nothing done? You might want to seek counseling. You got pretty angry there for no reason at all. Seems like you are just

This might be the biggest overreaction in sports history.

I find it more distracting to have recognizable voices. I spend half of the movie trying to figure out where I have heard their voices before and miss most of the story.

A bill that will never get to the President’s desk for him to veto.

Like anyone in politics would actually want to legislate that. Closing loopholes that would hinder their ability to make money? Yeah, right. It’s hysterical that people still believe that whatever party they support is somehow a noble entity that has only the best interest of the common man and woman in mind. Wake

I spend the exact same amount for both.....$0

Ignorance and hatred knows no skin color. Homophobia is not the sole possession of white, alt-righters. It’s a human condition distinct from ethnicity.

I thought we were supposed to accept people’s “abnormalities” and not shame them. I’m not a fan of Trump, but let’s go after him for his policies. If someone ridiculed Obama for some “abnormal” physical trait we would never hear the end of how racist and cruel they were being.
