Baby parts for sale warehouse? So what do we call hospitals who harvest the organs of some patients to be put in another person’s body?
That little interactive pay gap thing is interesting. Guess I should be proud. I make more than women and men of my same age in my industry.
I don’t think evangelicals realize that insistence on abstinence combined with little to no or inaccurate education on sex is just a disaster. The debates I had in high school about what sexual activity does and doesn’t “count” is proof enough of that.
Additionally, my father/family is very Catholic, meaning they…
If it was a joke, it was directed at my father. I wasn’t spoken to, just there.
True story. I know this awesome conservative couple who helped a woman out who was thinking of having an abortion. They decided they would not only adopt her child, but supported her through the process, were there on the day of the birth and offered to pay her medical expenses. I used this as an example to my…
I remember attending the GOP caucus the first time Obama ran. It was my first time voting and I was so excited and I was a registered Republican. ... the party thing is a long story (I voted for Obama in the end).
I don’t think I’m that bad, but I definitely freak out. I have to look away, go to a happy place and think about anything else. Last time I got blood drawn, the nurse asked be 5 times to hold the swab on the injection point so she could get a band-aid. I’ve become a pro a spacing out.
This is why I can’t be a politician. I would have been pure rage at that comment, not just because he made it seem that motherhood was a liability, but because, for years and to this day, no one gives a shit if a man has young children at home.
I’m actually okay with that. I mean, it’s true. No one can force you to have an abortion. No one can force you to have a baby either.
Two things:
I am not married and have never been pregnant, but as a teenager I babysat an infant once (I know that was a terrible sentence, but hear me out).
Right. But I don’t hear a fear associated with transmen using men’s restrooms like I hear about transwomen using women’s restrooms. And if transmen are at risk in men’s rooms, how can we protect them?
Yeah, but it will affect them because obviously the government will forcibly euthanize people against their will. So they say.
Who says allowing people to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with will lead to a transgender person attacking someone? Personally, I am 1000% percent comfortable with a transgender woman being in a bathroom with me. I see no reason to see her as any different than another woman.
Yeah.... my dad brought up abortion, aka, people killing babies and lying to unsuspecting women that it’s just a lump of flesh, during the holidays. Somehow, that conversation immediately transitioned to the government wanting to kill my grandfather. I couldn’t deal any longer and changed the subject when I could.
What…
EXACTLY, although, like someone else said in response to my post, there are religious people who DO think those things are wrong because it’s “playing God.”
There needs to be some way to educate people about this stuff. A baby doesn’t just pop out of nothing. all the body parts have to be programmed or taught how to be. The part of building the heart so that it beats is making it beat. Part of having nerves that react to stimuli is to have the body kick and move. I’m not…
THIS!!! I have more respect for the person against abortion no matter what because at least they are being consistent in how they view the fetus.
I actually have the answer to that (that I get). Complications in pregnancies are not common and.... well, they disagree that a person would seek another means of abortion if denied access to a safe one.
