I’m not 100% sure, but I was told once to call 411. They will then verify (or deny) that the cop following you is in fact an on duty cop. I think you can tell them from there that you are not fleeing and are just going to a place you feel safe. It might be a state by state thing, though.

This is why I feel women should have to meet the exact same standards as men. Lift the same weight, run the same distance and everything else. Maybe it will take some women longer to get there, maybe fewer will pass, but at least no one will be able to say they physically can’t do the job.
