Nice F-Body Fiero kit.
I’ll never understand the hate the C3 gets. It only seems to come from try-hards that desperately want to sound like Jeremy Clarkson for some reason.
The C3 was in production from the time I was a toddler until I got out of high school, so for me (those are formative years for noticing cars, right?) the Coke bottle shape was the Corvette.
Fuck you, Patrick - chrome bumpered C3's are awesome.
Someone suggested to me once that the cutouts in those wheels look like little dicks. Now I can’t unsee it.
Flat plane crank + manual trans > supercharged cross-plane with automatic.
One of my favorite movies ever. Also dodge is chuck norris approved so that really just proves who the better truck is
“A limited-slip pumpkin, sourced from Getrag, sorts out the power at the back wheels.” Not sure if this sorts the wheel hop issue.
I’m holding out for an FF with 3-on-the-tree.
Suzuka too
They feel like this:
Yeah I was expecting straightaway speeds to get closer to 300 km/h. Makes you wonder just how much time is left on the table if battery discharging and cooling technology can improve...a sub-6 lap seems well within reach.
I bought a 96 Collector’s (LT1/4L60) in an “early midlife event” in 2003. It now has 170,000 kms and is as close to a no-maintenance toy as you can imagine - oil, batteries, tires, brakes. I disconnect the battery in October, reconnect it in May, and it fires up immediately, ready for another summer of fun.…
The ZR-1 is one of my childhood dream cars, but now I fear the maintenance cost of it’s rare engine. If I’m springing for a C4 it’s gonna be a 96 with the LT4; preferably a silver Collector’s Edition, or a GS if the price is right.
