How I wish Jennifer Lawrence would just go away.
How I wish Jennifer Lawrence would just go away.
Oh, look. Smurf references in an Avatar-related thread. How original.
That pic, from which movie is it?
Pretty obvious it has nothing to do with the Jackson version, no?
I mean, to each their own, but still weird to consider Kong doesn’t meet your standards but Star Wars and comic book flicks, of all things, do, lol.
Well, of course he is. Does anyone believe Miyazaki when he says he’s going to retire? Kinda like Hideo Kojima (before the “Konami incident”) when he used to say “This is my final Metal Gear”. Yeah right.
Do you think he’ll get to build the wall? Or dismantle NAFTA? Force GM, Chrysler and such to abandon their factories in Mexico?
But there was no way he would win, right? It was just impossible.
Watch out, we got a (sleeveless) badass over here.
Why the hate against Eddie? I think he’s a fine actor. Disliking Depp I can understand, even if we don’t consider the domestic abuser part. He’s been playing the same annoying character for way too long now.
I’m watching, and I’m hooked. Can’t wait for tonight’s episode.
Word. He’ll probably be buried under a ton of make up and play a Jack Sparrow-type wacky character.
Hardcore Henry wasn’t a big success by any means. Sure, it made its budget back because it costed...what? Like 2 million dollars? But then again, shite like Paranormal Activity costs like 5 or 10 million and they rake in hundreds of millions at the b.o.
Maybe it’s just me after all.
Yah, I know it seems ironic considering my statement (that I don’t need action to be entertained), but truly...it’s getting repetitive with constant variations of the same conversation: “These things are no more than fuck puppets / *pseudo-philosophical chatter, Alice in Wonderland, blah blah* But don’t tell anyone we…
It’s interesting to see different reactions to the show, because so far I’m getting really bored with Westworld. I don’t need constant violence or action, mind you...but it’s mostly chit-chat between characters I don’t give a fig about.
I keep seeing the “Hollywood doesn’t have ideas anymore” argument time and time again, but truth is, people don’t support new ideas most of the time. One look at the b.o. and you see that the highest-grossing movies are superhero ones or animated/remakes (Dory, life of pets, jungle book, etc.).
I wouldn’t consider “The Visit” to be a high note, really. Shyamalan is a pest that refuses to go away. With more than three strikes now, he should be out.
Sadistically ingenious? Don’t you mean “one of the cheapest cliffhangers”?
Thank you!
