1.12g per ounce if you compare it to the 28g listed for cheddar. Still almost 6 times what is in the cheddar.

I agree a lot with this idea. I just wish I could find any field I cared about like that...
This might sound a bit naff for most games, but for more ponderous experiences - I'm looking at you, Civ & Total War - the ability to play my own music instead of listening to the same score for the 1,455,346st time, will be blessed relief
I think it's really misleading and unfortunate to portray sympathy as judgmental and patronizing.
I've a group of people in my life that are strong empaths. I've seen their mood shift just sitting in a room with people. You pick up on these subtle cues and start feeling what the other person is feeling. You relate…
Definitely would be more accurate to title this "how to make sure your laundry ends up on the floor".
I'm either capable of putting the laundry away (the hard part for me is actually the folding), OR I'm not. and putting them on the bed doesn't change that.
Nah, I actually like OKC. I don't have high expectations, but that's because I'm difficult, most of the people I've met have actually been pretty great, just not my type. Never really understood online dating slams. I think it must be an environmental thing, some people just get the shit end of the stick in certain…
Forgive me for the length and how mad this sounds.
The one thing I REALLY REALLY miss from my old "dumbphone" (which is a terrible term), was the ability to charge it once every week or two. I really miss that. Kinda like I miss having a watch I needed to change the battery in once every year or two, as opposed to my smart watch I need to charge every week or two.
Because there should be a clickable citation here as well: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2013/05/depres…
Looking back at my own experience, it can feel like you're in a dark hole, like the air has been squeezed out of you, and, at its worst point, feeling completely numb. But people who are depressed are usually pretty good at pretending otherwise for fear of scaring people away. If you want to know more about what it’s…
Grok is a word, it's often used to indicate a deeper understanding than just knowing the information about something. A physicist who has never played pool might understand it, but until she plays it she won't grok it.
In this case the word is used pretty accurately, in that it's not really possible to put into…
Came here to say this. Seems pedantic, but hey, some of us are engineers.
A lot of other people have pointed it out, but it really bothers me that they say "don't pre-rinse" My last roommate never pre-rinsed, so there was CONSTANTLY food baked onto the dishes. You know how frustrating it is to go through the glasses trying to find one without a bit of food cooked on the inside of it? I…
I might be odd, but I don't really find mixing my own sauces to be that hard. I feel like at the point where I'm trying to balance a mix of storebought stuff, it's not that much more work to just mix a batch of my own.
was wondering the same thing, I was thinking that with the increased syncing to the playstation cloud service it might be easy to do. Here's hoping!
I'm probably a little odd. For things like locks, you want to use graphite instead, and a tube of graphite is remarkably easy to have on your person, couple squeezes will fix most stuck locks in no time (unless you did something like shear a driving spring between the plug and the bible).
Ever since I discovered dry…
I honestly feel that the series peaked with Metal Age. So far what I've seen of this hasn't done anything to change my mind. However, I will say that more than EVER I want this to become a successful movie franchise. Thief more or less BUILT the structure behind Splinter Cell, Hitman, and of course Dishonored.
I…
Cool! that's actually one I haven't tried yet, I'll have to grab one and see how it works for me. Thanks!
Fantastic pen choice. they are lovely, I have a number myself. I'll admit my preference is based on pencils though, might be no difference pen wise.
Not that much, still liked the moleskin paper better but they got the cover material right, and they are well made.
