depends on what you mean. On my laptop I find I am finally comfortable at about 640GB, though I'm guessing as things increase in size that'll only last for a couple more years, before I have to pursue 1TB options.

Honestly? I use cable as either exploratory (kinda like pandora) or as background noise/image. If things like Hulu or Netflix streaming had a pandora esque "random shuffle" kind of thing (even better if, like pandora, it tried to find stuff you'd like, or at least that was themed to a channel), I'd actually probably…
I think my problem is that I always feel like I never learn enough from my failings. I've failed at a lot of things, and while I don't regret any of them, as the experiences themselves were the very essence of living life ( which I think involves a certain responsibility to not fear death (at least not paralyzingly…
I let them play. I multitask so heavily commercials are a welcome break where I can surf the web, write a story, read a book, reference tables, talk to friends on IM, and eat whatever meal I happen to have nearby. If I skip commercials that means that I have to pick up the remote, hit fast forward, watch carefully…

The danger here is people that don't know anything about the various OS options available, which is, of course, the target crowd. Best buy employees telling people that know the OS's this will be met with laughs. It's our…
@Crashproof: Hear hear, I have found that I am infinitely more productive taking full breaks, and then doing bursts of work than working steadily and trying to keep my mind off those "just out of reach" distractions.
This is a great idea. I hope I can keep it up. The allure of being able to tab through fields quickly might break this good habit before I can solidify it. I have to agree with the sentiments above, a grease monkey script that patched this would be cool.
This strikes me as a terrible idea. One of the major problems with txt messages is the tendency toward meaningless brevity. I mean, if you want to be brief in an E-mail just be brief, why bother being brief and then telling people you are being brief?
I was wondering how others organize their homepage. I've been using iGoogle as my homepage, pretty much since it premiered. I kept adding things to it as it improved, but I only recently went back and properly organized it. My main page now has my Gmail, important bookmarks, my google reader, my Gtasks, [dictionary.…
