Yes. I follow a bunch of paleo/cross fit/crazy people. Most people are eating fish/chicken/veggies all day every day (kind of boring frankly). I wish there were some more butter steaks wrapped in bacon for me to gawk at.

Excellent point.

The thing is, yes, if you ate grilled chicken all the time, you would lose weight and be healthy and all would be fine in the world. But real people can't just order grilled chicken all the time. And it's not like those people ordering the Drunk Stepdad would be ordering a grilled chicken sandwich were it not for

Blast from the past! I WISH my job would be to call people idiots on the internet - I already am doing it for free all the time!

Whoa, blast from the past on an old thread. How did this come up?

Yeah, but does adding the garlic bread make it healthier? If anything, they were fucking up their diet because if you're going to do the "block of cheese" Atkins diet, you have to be a lot more careful about the sugar in the pizza sauce and the carbs in the onions. But, again, I don't know why removing the garlic

Grains and legumes aren't so healthy that not eating them would cause any issues - and a lot of people feel much better cutting out grains and legumes entirely, rather than just limiting them in amount and only to their unprocessed states, as you outlined.

Eh, very few people who do paleo actually eat "giant" steaks "every day." That's not really a fair criticism.

Eh, call it something else, but it's still a pretty reasonable/healthy way to eat.

Ugh, are people still believing in the low-fat mumbo jumbo? Is this 1992?

Delta and Jetblue both give free snacks - haven't flown the other ones recently, but only a handful of airlines charge for stupid snacks (I am particularly annoyed by people who feel entitled to a free bag of chips on an airplane because it's literally a 2 dollar "luxury" people overvalue to the point of absurdity -

Oh, fashion.

This is what happens when people choose their plane tickets on cost alone, thanks to Kayak, etc. Airlines have to charge as little as humanly possible and, with no money leftover to put towards "controlling the weather" or "giving people free hotel stays because they can't control the weather", people are fucked

Was this book the most fun I've ever had reading a book, ever? Possibly. It's so, so good and so, so funny. Recommend to anyone!

As far as I know, it's not so much slipping/falling out, but rather one of those monkey-like toddlers that relish in the possibility of escaping/climbing/etc.

Of course not. Which is why I think it should be raised (when America gets blustery, too, they should reminded if there's a huge inconsistency in their policy/actions)

Me not mentioning her terrible crime gives the wrong impression that I'm not outraged by it. I definitely am, I think it's horrible. The fact that cavity searches are standard procedure flips the only benefit of the doubt I was giving this woman.

Oh come on. How is arresting someone for keeping another human being in practical slavery "American imperialism." This isn't about India not reciprocating "special privileges" (like, what, KEEPING SLAVES?!). Indian diplomats in America aren't being threatened with purposefully reduced security, purposefully limited

I am so sorry!
