Agreed. To my ear most V8s sound like crap. And most V6s are even worse - only the Italians seem to be able to make them sound good.

The Fiat 500 Abarth is a great sounding 4-banger (better than the Fiata to my ear). Even the Neon ACR sounded decent for a 4 cylinder. I don’t think either one has a muffler, just a resonator behind the cat.

I drive a ~460whp Golf R, so a little hotter than this engine but not too far, same displacement. I’ve got reasonable power by ~3500rpm, full boost from 4k-7200 rev limiter.

Yeah if going off the current 45 is anything this thing will sound violent. A good buddy has a CLA45 with the sport exhaust and it sounds amazing. I’ve driven them on the autocross course near Benz’s factory and that motor is really a pure monster

I agree about the general (I mean, hate Hillary or no, Trump got his ass handed to him and his voters just loved him more). However, I think they are important in primaries because they can flesh out the nuanced differences between the candidates. Like instead of it being a spectacle where two people debate…

I’m with you on this, but can we maybe disentangle the debate about reproductive rights from a discussion about eugenics? There are many good, sensible arguments for family planning services. “Those people have too many babies!”, which is the terminus of just about every debate I’ve ever had that discusses…

I’m so bothered by the fixation on the “heartbeat” term in these laws. I KNOW that it’s just a manipulative measure meant to severely restrict abortion — but not everybody does.

Right?? I live in NYC, smoke regularly at home and with my friends, work a 9-hour a day job with a 45-min commute each way, never smoke during work or commute hours.
