Totally. I was just thinking of like, a Honda Element with its paint color and the black cladding color. I’m not sure I ever thought of it as two tone (but it clearly is). This conversation is highlighting to me how ridiculous classifications for things like paint jobs are, because none of it is really a concrete…

True, if the black isn’t just exposed black cladding. I dunno. Do we count body accents like chrome or black bumpers as a third tone?

That’s what every single two tone paint job is doing these days. Hiding some clunky design. That said, Volvo has way better colored paint (in my opinion) than the competitors.
