To be clear, I wasn’t naysaying your point of view. I typically find your comments to be well articulated and well informed. I guess I’m just saying I’ve seen so many egregious overreaches since 9/11, I’m just numb to it all. This one is just another in a long, long list.

I agree, they are very different cases, but watching the FBI which is supposed to operate domestically, and strictly never on foreign soil (that’s the CIA’s prerogative), was an incredible overreach and a violation of their mandated responsibilities.

This doesn’t seem like much more of an overreach than the FBI hauling Kim Dotcom out of his New Zealand residence over some copyright infringements.
