Wow! I knew Ford made the 3 cyl, but I didn’t realize it was on sale in the U.S.

I’m with you on this. I’d say our whole culture went aspirational at some point overall, and the freakin humor went out of everything. It’s what drew me to this site to begin with - the overeducated snark, the excellent takes, the not taking itself too seriously, and general janky-ness of it all.
