A lot of people are still playing this game; it is still relevant and fair-game for stories. Don't like people like that dissuade you from further coverage. I rather like that you have ongoing coverage of game communities.

There are a few compelling reasons they might release an official Destiny 2: for one, they'll want to eventually switch to current-gen entirely and abandon the old consoles, which could be done with a big new PS4/XB1/PC release (in, say, fall of 2016) that allows people to bring over their old characters.
